Strategic Pricing Analyst career opportunity will allow you to use your analytical mindset to dive into the data that continues to enable our company to grow and stay competitive. Pricing is a key area of our grocery retail business, and you and our team of Pricing professionals will use tools and analytics to support the development, analysis, and implementation of both promotional and pricing strategies. Using these tools and analytics, you will be a key partner in driving sales and profitability while shifting consumer and competitive dynamics.

Requirements

Additional Duties Include:

  • Develop and maintain promotional pricing strategies in alignment with organizational goals, margin targets, and category objectives.
  • Analyze consumer behavior, competitor pricing, market trends, and promotional performance to formulate data-driven pricing decisions.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in evaluating data and recommending pricing actions to leadership and category teams.
  • Collaborate with Category Management and Marketing to plan and execute promotional campaigns (e.g., BOGO, loyalty offers, seasonal pricing) and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Lead analysis and implementation of vendor cost changes, ensuring alignment between retail price adjustments and financial objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key pricing KPIs, including margin impact, unit lift, promotional effectiveness, and regional competitive changes.
  • Manage and maintain price zones and tier structures across markets to ensure strategic consistency and competitive positioning.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentation materials to support pricing reviews, executive decision-making, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Finance, IT, and Store Operations to support pricing system enhancements, testing, and execution.
  • Contribute to a high-performance pricing culture by sharing insights, identifying improvement opportunities, and applying learnings from data analysis.
