General Duties:

The Business Development Manager (US Air Force/FMS) is responsible for identifying and capturing new business for the company aligned with Field Aerospace's strategic goals. Develop and implement strategy for top line growth for the US business. Responsible for working directly with cross-functional teams to provide strategic value and input to the business.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Essential Job Functions:

  • Knowledge aircraft modifications and ISR platforms (fixed and rotary aircraft, FLIR, COMINT, SIGNIT, ELINT, RADAR, Communication equipment)
  • Identified business opportunities at Tinker Air Force Base (OC-ALC), Hill Air Force Base (OO-ALC), Warner Robbins (WR-ALC) and in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Aerospace market
  • Working with US Government and FMS customers in understanding and identifying needs, requirements, and future opportunities
  • Manages an assigned key account/sub-account to maximize sales revenues, aligned with strategic goals, and meeting corporate objectives
  • Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through proactive planning and management
  • Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings
  • Building a sales pipeline and maintaining consistent opportunities
  • Developing presentations and proposals in support of major sales campaigns and briefing at the executive level.
  • Working across functions to develop solutions to customers' requirements
  • Establishing and meeting sales objectives through forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
  • Position requires frequent domestic and international travel

Skills and Experiences:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably within US Government and US Air Force
  • SAF/IA or Foreign Area Officer (FAO) experience highly desired
  • Experience working with or working for the AFMC, AFLCMC, AFSOC, or equivalent USAF agencies
  • Experience within the aerospace industry, preferably military aviation
  • Knowledge and understanding of U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulations, ITAR, and export compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
  • Possess or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word with an understanding of CRM tools

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Master's degree in business or related field or Engineering Degree highly desirable
