We are looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our team and represent our company in a professional, positive, and courteous manner. The successful candidate needs to be someone who takes initiative, can work well with others, and is capable of multitasking.



Responsibilities

You would be responsible for answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, greeting visitors, and badging visitors and directing them to various parts of the office. You must conduct yourself in a professional manner, including grooming, dress, and comportment.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

    Ensuring the office lobby is open and ready to receive visitors Monday through Friday.
  • Answering the phone in a professional manner, screening, and routing calls as necessary.
  • Greet visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Notify appropriate personnel when a visitor arrives.
  • Maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • Receive shipments and deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintaining a work schedule of 10 - 15 hours per week.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience working in an office environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The capability to perform 95% sedentary work and occasionally lift or move up to 25lbs
  • The ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in the administrative field
  • Experience using a multi-line phone system
