Fire Alarm Installation Technician Location: Various job sites within 1-hour driving radius Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire About the Role: We are seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to join our growing team, working on new construction projects including large condo and apartment complexes. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role focused on installing fire alarm systems from the ground up-no troubleshooting or programming required. Top Skills & Experience: * 3-5 years & of experience installing conventional and addressable fire alarm systems * Experience in commercial environments, rough wiring * Proficient with 18-2, 16-2, and 16-4 wiring * Skilled with hand tools: drills, hammers, multi-meters, etc. * Fit and able to handle a fast-paced, labor-intensive workload Nice to Have: * Experience with pipe work * Familiarity with fire alarm programming (via laptop or annunciator) What You'll Be Doing: * Installing fire alarm systems in new construction buildings * Running wire, drilling holes, and mounting boxes * Completing work in up to 10 units per day * Using your own vehicle to travel to job sites (up to 1 hour away) Perks After Conversion (6 Months): * Company vehicle * Gas card * EZ Pass * Opportunity for overtime (weekends optional) What We're Looking For: * Reliable and punctual individuals who take pride in their work * Team players who can work independently and efficiently * Commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship If you're ready to bring your fire alarm installation skills to a company that values hard work and offers a clear path to full-time employment, apply today! Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
