Position Title: Quality Technician
Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Quality Technician at a company in Springfield, MO. This is a potential to hire position. Apply now! Quality Technician Responsibilities: - Performing product quality inspections and line audits - Conducting audits of Work Instructions, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts and PFMEA's - Performing root cause analysis of warranty returns and generating warranty analysis reports - Troubleshooting failed units from line inspections and performing build procedure inspections - Ensuring all precision measuring devices and qualifying gauges are properly functioning - Ensuring all gauges are calibrated based on the requirements and at the proper frequency - Conducting sediment testing of product - Conducting titration evaluation of washers - Enforcing company policies, procedures and requirements of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 Requirements for Quality Technician: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role - Experience using calibrated measuring equipment and gauges - Effective computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office suite - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Good organizational and planning skills - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Ability to lift up to 60 pounds - Ability to work while exposed to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and fumes - Previous manufacturing experience preferred - Mechanical background preferred - Working knowledge of torque converters and/or transfer cases preferred - Formal training or working experience with ISO 9001, IATF 19649, and/or ISO 14001 is a plus springfield@qpsemployment.com IND061 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
