The Channel Manager is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing indirect sales Partners of DataBank who sell our portfolio of cloud, colocation, and managed services to business clients. This role will focus on expanding the DataBank footprint through strategic partnerships with Master Agents, VARs, MSPs, Critical Infrastructure Real Estate Brokers, and high-tech solution providers in the indirect channel space. A strong understanding of cloud technologies and managed services is essential to drive success in this role. Responsibilities
- Create new Partner relationships via targeted recruitment efforts focused on cloud and managed service resellers, driven by channel campaigns
- Coordinate and deliver training and onboarding programs for Partners, emphasizing cloud and managed service solutions to ensure full sales enablement
- Conduct regular partner outreach to promote DataBank's offerings and maintain mindshare
- Identify, establish, and deepen alliances in the cloud and technology partner ecosystem to drive new revenue opportunities
- Ensure a high-quality Partner experience through active relationship management and ongoing support
- Collaborate with DataBank Direct Sales to develop strategic, cloud-centric go-to-market campaigns within assigned regions
- Support sales funnel development through customer presentations, pricing quotes, and solution positioning centered on DataBank's cloud and managed services portfolio
- Contribute to event planning, including scheduling, content delivery, and marketing collateral, with a focus on showcasing our managed service capabilities
- Represent DataBank at industry events and partner forums to promote cloud and managed service offerings
- Accurately forecast sales and revenue generated through channel efforts
- Deliver timely, detailed, and accurate reports including forecasts, pipeline metrics, partner activity, and expenses
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a channel sales or partner management role, preferably in a cloud services, data center, or managed IT services environment
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS), virtualization, and managed hosting solutions
- Familiarity with partner ecosystems, including MSPs, VARs, and systems integrators
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
