The Marketing Senior Specialist - Advisory Services is responsible for collaborating with pursuit teams to produce winning proposals and new business presentations that lead to increased sales. This position is 75% proposal focused and 25% general marketing.
The Marketing Senior Specialist reports to the Marketing Director - Advisory Services. This position works closely with other members of the Marketing team and the Managing Directors/Pursuit teams to produce business development documents and assist with other general marketing initiatives and projects. This position plays a key role in refining proposal processes, enhancing templates and tools, and supporting pursuit strategies to increase proposal efficiency and impact.

This is a dynamic position that requires the ability to help with a number of medium-to-large efforts simultaneously, collaborate with teammates and executive leadership, and produce high quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The proposal specialist must be able to take initiative and work independently or with a team.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties:
*Assist in the management of all aspects of the new business pursuit strategy, including qualifying the opportunity, facilitating pursuit team strategy meetings, developing key selling points, drafting content, establishing deadlines, and managing the overall pursuit process
*Draft, edit and format all proposals in a clear, concise and persuasive manner-customizing each draft with primary content specific to the prospect's needs, pain points and our value proposition
*Develop high-impact business development documents reflecting the firm's brand identity, messaging, and positioning within tight deadlines
*Develop and maintain a library of proposal content and templates by service line and industry for reuse and optimization
*Promote best of breed content and new assets to be incorporated into proposal templates
*Proactively track and report on proposal metrics and trends including win rate, industry trends, and other key trends
*Coordinate and assist with other marketing initiatives and projects including campaigns, lead generation, events, thought leadership, collateral development, and social media
*Other responsibilities as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
*BA or BS in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
*5+ years of experience personally producing proposals and managing proposal efforts
*Knowledge and experience working in a professional services environment preferred
*Excellent proposal management skills including strong attention to detail, planning, organization, synthesizing technical solutions into writing, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills.
*Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
*Effectively interact with leaders across a matrixed organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
*Experience articulating message points and positioning in business development/sales documents
*Ability to think creatively and visualize final document deliverables
*Strong client service focus and results-driven attitude
*Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment
*Team player who is also self-motivated and can work independently with minimum supervision
*Strong Microsoft Office and Salesforce experience
*Experience with marketing automation software, such as Pardot or HubSpot, a plus
*Experience with video conferencing platforms, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, a plus
*Design experience and knowledge of Canva or other design software experience a plus
Minimum Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 3 Years of experience as a subject matter expert
* Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
* Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
* Effective customer service skills
* Proficient use of applicable technology
* Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
* Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
