Staffmark is now hiring a Manufacturing Operator for a leading plastics production facility in Hartford City, IN. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with one of the area's most respected manufacturers, offering cutting-edge processes and a team-focused environment. Hours & Pay:

Pay Rate: $18.48 per hour

Schedule: 12-hour night shift | 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule: One week at 36 hours, the next at 48 hours

Daily Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor plastic extrusion and contour lines under the direction of a qualified Line Operator
• Perform start-up, shut-down, and changeover tasks safely and efficiently
• Load raw materials (resin) and monitor additive levels
• Ensure consistent quality control by inspecting products and entering production data
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Collaborate with team members during line changes and assist with training new staff
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Climb towers, bend, twist, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in temperature-variable environments

What We're Looking For:

• At least 1 year of machine operator experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plastics environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer literacy for entering production data
• Commitment to quality, safety, and reliability
• Ability to stand for 12 hours and work in a physically demanding setting
