Forvis Mazars is looking for a Technology Solutions Architect with very strong cloud and network engineering skills to join our Technology Consulting team! You will have the opportunity to work with different clients across the globe and different industries to develop IT strategies, evaluate new technologies, architect and design new solutions, and implement technologies to enable our client's business strategies. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology with comprehensive skills to design, develop, build, configure and deploy IT enablement solutions using software defined technologies, cloud platforms, virtualization, business applications, security solutions and shared infrastructure services. We're also looking for someone with proven IT documentation development experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within scope, on time and according to client expectations.
As a Senior Consultant, you will represent our firm by taking responsibility for managing most aspects of a client engagement with minimal supervision. Our Senior Consultants work as part of a larger consulting team forming close relationships with key client Business and Information Technology stakeholders. Senior Consultants are expected to learn our client's business, understand their goals and objectives, develop and execute project approaches, and solve our client's business and technical challenges. Additionally, the Candidate fulfilling the Senior Consultant role will be expected to support client projects from initiation through completion, collaborating with other Forvis Mazars' team members and client resources to help our clients execute their strategies, achieve their goals and objectives, and improve business and IT operations. The Candidate is expected to play a significant role in client engagements while maintaining additional internal (non-client) responsibilities
How you will contribute:
  • Lead or participate in Technology Consulting projects
  • Design, implement and configure infrastructure and modern work technologies including network services, virtualization technologies, cloud, productivity suite services and core infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, File/Print services, Network Policy Services, Private Key Infrastructure, etc.
  • Plan and execute migrations to shift workloads or data to new technologies
  • Assess IT processes (i.e. ITIL or COBIT)
  • Develop IT strategy and implementation roadmaps
  • Analyze, identify, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions for clients
  • Design, engineer and implement technical solutions
  • Work in all technology environments, including virtualization and cloud solutions
  • Conduct security assessments
  • Develop technology standards and procedures
  • Develop documentation to support project deliverables
  • Develop and present high-quality presentations for senior leaders and executives

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.0)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering concentrations
  • Must possess 2-5 years' experience in the following:
    • Designing, implementing and managing public and private cloud infrastructure and modern work technologies such as network services, virtualization technologies, productivity suite services (i.e. email, collaboration services, unified communication services) and core infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, File/Print services, Network Policy Services, Private Key Infrastructure, etc.
  • Thorough understanding and technical competency in the following technologies:
    • Cloud services such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
    • Virtualized systems such as VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V and Citrix
    • IT network design concepts, standards, protocols and strategies
    • Storage platforms using NetApp, EMC or other mainstream platforms
    • Email systems such as Microsoft Exchange and online email systems such as Exchange Online, Gmail etc.
    • Microsoft Purview and Copilot
  • Knowledge of IT service management processes and supporting tools
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
