Staffmark is hiring a Purchasing Agent for a direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer of custom lighting solutions in Jonesboro, AR. This is your chance to bring your procurement skills to a dynamic operation where precision, creativity, and efficiency light the way forward.

Hours & Pay:

Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: Starting salary from $55,000+ annually, based on experience

Employment Type: Direct Hire

What You'll Be Doing:

• Communicate with vendors to gather product specs, pricing, lead times, and availability
• Collaborate with leadership and team leads to assess inventory levels and procurement needs
• Maintain thorough purchasing records including cost tracking, delivery timelines, and stock levels
• Troubleshoot and resolve product quality or service concerns with suppliers
• Schedule and coordinate necessary maintenance or services
• Learn and understand the company's products, policies, and vendor relationships
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management

What You Bring to the Table:

• Minimum 1-2 years of purchasing or procurement experience
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and vendor management capabilities
• Experience with Microsoft Office and inventory management tools
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and remain standing for extended periods as needed
• Professional demeanor and a team-first mindset
