What you'll be doing...

You will work with a team and together create and deliver on the Artificial Intelligence Industrialization roadmap for the enterprise by identifying modernization and automation opportunities through user feedback, market analysis, internal collaboration and strategic opportunity assessment and prioritization. You will partner with and leverage the strength of our internal Data Science teams, Machine learning engineers as well as vendor partners. You will lead agile development and implementation projects that drive efficiencies across our Global Technology Solutions teams.

You'll work closely with a team of data scientists, big data engineers, and software developers and play a key role in developing solutions that generate substantial value for the business. The right person will be able to effectively describe & promote the organization's strategy and key messaging (usually through visual & written communications) targeted to employees, executives, leaders, and other partners within & outside of AI&D. Additionally, the right person will have high attention to detail, significant accountability & proven abilities to work in complex matrix environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act a thought leader and a forward-leaning partner with internal and business teams to shape, prioritize and deliver a strategic roadmap for the AI Industrialization including GenAI and Agentic services

  • Partner with the business to ensure our organization's strategy is aligned and supportive of wider business unit strategic goals.

  • Expert in creating presentations for executive reviews outlining strategy, technical solutions, complex analysis and recommendations in an effective manner.

  • Leading end to end Product portfolio management by partnering with GTS, AI&D and business teams and develop holistic understanding of platform, systems, processes, data, analytics and customer behavior to solve business goals.

  • Partnering with technology, security, legal and privacy to ensure a strategy for the business is also defined in the context of the overall group strategy

  • Designing, developing, implementing, and overseeing high-end analytical/technology processes and solutions with a focus on leveraging advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence methods.

  • Managing a technical team assigned to various projects/products in GenAI portfolios that will operate as the product managers.

  • Working with project managers and technical team to understand and solve challenging technical problems

  • Collaborating with cross functional teams.

  • Interfacing with business product owners to learn and understand requirements as well as describe proposed solutions.

  • Promoting continuous improvement of the environment through new tools for automation, monitoring, and rapid deployment.

  • Handling responsibility and deciding authority focused comprehensively on the execution, delivery, and ongoing support of projects (end to end development and deployment).

  • Supporting the intake of potential use cases throughout the business, partner with stakeholder groups inside and outside to identify high-value opportunities.

  • Making recommendations and driving decisions toward ideal prioritization to expedite value-add to Verizon.

  • Working with the stakeholder community to promote compliance with standards, guidelines, leading practices, security, and risk management in accordance with guidelines and processes.

  • Building processes to gather process improvement insights from the team.

What we're looking for... You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience using project management tools, office productivity, and data analytics tools.

  • Behavior/predictive analysis and/or data analytics development experience.

  • Experience with SQL.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, analytics, engineering, computer science, or another technical discipline. MBA.

  • Dedication and determination to see things through from start to finish.

  • Experience working with people from all working backgrounds and functions; with a knack for developing relationships.

  • Experience with presenting plans to all levels of management across an organization.

  • Product development or analytics experience in the technology sector.

  • Experience Hive and BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, ThoughtSpot.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages. Ideally, Python/Pyspark/R.

  • Ability to develop and maintain deep, trust-based business relationships.

  • Experience building, analyzing, updating, and rebuilding executive presentations.

  • Presentation, communication, and leadership skills both internal and external to the organization.

  • Knowledge of Google Slides, Google Sheet & other Google Suite Products.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead others through influence.

  • Strategy & operations experience at a leading management consulting firm.

  • Experience with storytelling skills and a commitment to excellence with issues and problems.

  • Experience in formulating and implementing strategies within well-defined time frames w/multiple stakeholders.

  • A working knowledge of roles and functions across the GN&T organization

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $120,500.00 - $231,000.00.
