In this position, the runner should have an understanding of the content of the menu and ensures that food is delivered in a timely fashion. The runner should understand and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and help with the execution of area setup and breakdown. Key Areas of Responsibility: * Ensures all food and beverage is properly delivered and/or stored. * Pick up food from the kitchen and deliver it to guests in-seat. * Knowledgeable on all menu offerings. * Follows set up and break down processes efficiently. * Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided. * Performs post event product inventory and restocks as needed. * Understands all event paperwork and reports. * Always exceeds guest expectations. * Adheres to location appearance guidelines. * Acts with a sense of urgency and professionalism. * Maintains prep and service areas. * Employs good safety and sanitation practices. * Follows responsible alcohol service policies. * Understands the importance of maintaining equipment. * Helps fellow employees whenever necessary. Essential Job Duties: * Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests. * Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. * React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. * Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day. * Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. * Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
