Facilities Manager What this job involves:

At JLL, we are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to serve as the primary point of contact responsible for comprehensive facilities management. In this role, you will assist the Regional Manager and Account Director in delivering exceptional facility management services while supervising plant operations teams. Your responsibilities will encompass regulatory compliance, quality assurance activities, financial performance reporting, and personnel management/development. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Supervise and direct the plant operations team, ensuring that maintenance, financial, CMMS, safety, and regulatory compliance programs operate at maximum efficiency
  • Make informed decisions based on in-depth understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Master Services Agreement (MSA) and ensure compliance with all relevant amendments and appendices
  • Manage operational facilities budgets and expenditures while delivering exceptional value to our clients
  • Track key performance indicators, identify trends, and develop action plans for any below-standard performance
  • Provide oversight and support for maintenance projects and vendor activities that support critical operations
  • Develop and implement staff training programs for facility maintenance techniques and safety protocols
  • Create a safe work environment through enforcement of safety and infection control policies, including proper use of protective equipment
  • Ensure all building systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Assess compliance with standards in areas including NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, Safety Management, Security Management, and Hazardous Materials Management
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of facility management, plant operations, engineering, or maintenance supervision experience
  • Proven managerial experience with budget and personnel responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage within matrix organizations
  • Experience overseeing both technical and administrative staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation abilities for various stakeholders
  • Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and CMMS/Work Order systems
  • Availability to supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours, including weekends when necessary
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with all JLL policies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree in a related engineering field, formal apprenticeship program, or technical trade school
  • Professional certifications such as CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facility Manager), CPMM (Certified Plant Maintenance Manager), or CFM (Certified Facility Manager)
  • Experience overseeing multiple facilities with varied functions
  • Background in regulatory compliance management
  • Knowledge of sustainable facility management practices
  • Experience with project management and vendor relationship development
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills with proven ability to motivate teams

Estimated total compensation for this position:

90,000.00 - 105,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
