Position Purpose







The Vendor Liaison has the responsibility to ensure coordination of activities with contracted vendors and Renown Health. The liaison will be responsible to ensure vendors are meeting our expectations, following protocols, and providing service as outlined in their contractual responsibilities, as well as completing any requests from the vendors.







Nature and Scope







The major challenges of this position are to ensure vendor performance per contracted agreement, the best interests of Renown and our patients.

* Review and process all reconciliation reports.

* Attend reoccurring meetings with the vendors to review vendor scorecards, vendor monthly performance and problem- solve issues.

* Record meeting minutes with vendors to ensure follow-up.

* Ensure compliance with Renown information security policies, health and safety policies and HIPAA requirements.

* Coordinate system access and facilitate training for vendors who require system access.

* Coordinate with Information Resources on file transfers and reconciliation.

* Respond to vendor requests within the agreed upon time frame.

* Review inventory return reports and distribute as needed for resolution.

* Reconcile the vendor invoices.

* Provide support to SPCC work queues.

* Escalate all issues unresolved to SPCC Leadership.

* Promote the Renown Health Standards of Conduct.

This position requires a highly organized individual who can work independently and coordinate cooperation from vendors and Renown departments. High standards of professionalism, courtesy, performance, diplomacy and respect for confidentiality are essential.

This position does not provide patient care.

Education:



Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.



Experience:



Requires two (2) years of business office or business administration experience. Healthcare specific experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree in business administration will substitute for experience. Working knowledge of MS Office required.

Computer / Typing:



Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
