The Director, Ready Logistics Client Success benefits from deep knowledge of the auto transportation industry, including client dynamics, carrier operations, and logistics performance standards. Established relationships within the sector are an asset, helping to drive client satisfaction, partnership success, and business growth. This leader will focus on growing the auto transportation business through market share wins, expanding the sales pipeline, and selling new products to both commercial and dealer clients.

The role requires close collaboration with the Carrier Operations team to advance strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and service delivery within a high-volume auto transportation environment. Partnering with Pricing and Finance is essential to ensure profitability and guide data-driven decisions aligned with business objectives. The leader will oversee service delivery across dealer and commercial clients, tailoring solutions that reflect industry nuances and expectations. They will also lead the Claims Management team, driving process improvement and accountability, and ensure timely resolution of transport-related claims.

Effective leadership across diverse, multi-level teams is critical-fostering collaboration, continuous development, and alignment across core logistics functions. This role engages with stakeholders from dispatch teams to executive leadership, maintaining transparency and driving shared success. Additionally, partnering with Manheim and Sales will be key to identifying growth opportunities and delivering innovative solutions that meet evolving transportation demands.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and performance.
  • Partner with Pricing and Finance teams to align on business goals, ensure profitability, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage relationships and service delivery for both dealer and commercial clients, ensuring tailored support and satisfaction across segments.
  • Lead the Claims Management team, overseeing processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Actively participate in the review and approval of claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution.
  • Provide leadership across multi-level teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development across diverse functions and roles.
  • Engage with all levels of the business, from frontline staff to executive leadership, to ensure alignment, transparency, and shared success.
  • Collaborate with the Manheim and Sales Partnership to identify opportunities and drive new business growth.
  • Define and lead innovative projects focused on orchestrating client experience and team member experience improvements.
  • Lead teams of client experience professionals to drive focus, prioritization, execution and accountability for a world-class client experience.
  • Build an enhanced consultative, service-oriented skill set within the client success team through team leadership and leveraging of development resources.
  • Develop and proliferate standardized methods to monitor client engagement and identify early indicators of opportunity to improve the client experience.
  • Create a culture of business growth.
  • Develop and apply a thorough knowledge of the transportation industry and competitive activity, both nationally and at the local level, translating this knowledge into appropriate plans and programs.
  • Partner with cross-Cox Automotive teams to utilize client input to develop data-driven insights.
  • Utilize performance data to evaluate team member impact and succession planning.
  • Develop and implement consistent and fair client engagement metrics and retention goals across the team.
  • Communicate key insights and business cases to executive leadership to influence business priorities and product roadmap development, ensuring a full cycle of value creation.
  • Establish a Logistics relationship and presence across CAI business units.
  • Act as the Voice of the Client (VOC) in all programs and company efforts to ensure client focus and advocacy throughout the organization and with clients.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a management or leadership role.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Operations, Client Management, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of the auto transportation industry and its operational, logistical, and client-specific dynamics.
  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, client relations, or a relevant area.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably managing multiple small teams.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven leader who thrives on delivering results.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large teams across multiple business units.
  • Proven ability to effectively influence across all levels and backgrounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Customer-focused - delivers customer-centric solutions.
  • Strong influencer - uses compelling arguments to gain support and commitment at all levels.
  • Organizational savvy - adept at navigating complex organizational dynamics involving policy, process, and people.


USD 131,600.00 - 219,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $131,600.00 - $219,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
