Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a part timeDermatologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women's health.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

  • Supervise residents in adult, pediatric, and/or surgical dermatology clinics.
  • Provide clinical care and hands-on teaching to residents and medical students.
  • Perform inpatient dermatology consults.
  • Primarily clinical role with required participation in hospital administrative tasks.
  • Additional teaching and administrative duties available, if desired.
  • Schedule: 28 hours per week of scheduled clinic time, plus 4 hours of scheduled administrative time (flexible).
  • Call Coverage: Home call coverage required 1 month per year.
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Dermatology
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology
  • New York State Medical License

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $216,000* (board eligible); $220,000* (board certified) based on 32-hour work week.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $269,600** (board eligible) and $274,000** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

  • Projected bonus of up to $32,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employeesare immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
    • Afterone year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • AnnualContinuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
  • GenerousAnnual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days
  • Medical,Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
  • LifeInsurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
    • Additionalemployee-paid Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage is available for you and your family.
  • LoanForgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.
  • MedicalMalpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
  • Healthcareand Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
  • Pre-taxemployee-paid contributions for commuting expenses.
  • Visasponsorship will be considered for this position.
