Under supervision, the Study Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and conducting multi-site projects with adolescents and young adults at clinical high risk for developing psychosis or who have experienced a recent onset of psychosis to ensure timely and methodologically sound adherence to research protocols within the Department of Psychiatry. Work in collaboration with study staff to initiate study, resolve problems and provide detailed updates of enrollment and data collection. The position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Project coordination will require involvement in all aspects of conducting research studies including: 1) Screening potential study participants to determine eligibility for ongoing studies and schedule as appropriate; 2) Obtaining informed consent/assent; 3) Obtaining medical records to determine study eligibility; 4) Processing of biospecimens, shipping and storing of blood, urine and saliva samples; 5) Scoring and entering data into database. Recruiter tasks will require timely recruitment, screening, and enrollment of qualified study participants for ongoing research studies and for supporting recruitment-related administrative and outreach efforts. Assist with other project and miscellaneous duties as required.

• Theoretical knowledge of Psychology or other related field as typically attained by a Bachelor's degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience that will be essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the positions.

• Demonstrated clinical knowledge of DSM-IV/V criteria for psychiatric disorders and demonstrated experience working with a psychiatric population, experience working with adolescents, young adults and family member using tact, diplomacy and adhering to strict privacy requirements.

• Demonstrated experience in coordinating and managing of research studies, ensuring timely and methodologically sound adherence to projects' research protocols; proven ability to liaison with PI, staff and collaborating sites associated with the projects to implement testing procedures, resolve problems and provide detailed updates.

• Demonstrated research and/or clinical experience working with adolescents and young adults with severe mental illness as well as their caregivers.

• Demonstrated experience with performing centrifugation and aliquotting samples; preparing samples for storage and shipment.

• Proven ability to manage subject participation in various components of studies (number of subjects, completion of different components of the test battery, status of follow up), provide reports as requested by Principal Investigator.

• Proven ability and willingness to collect urine and saliva samples for cortisol testing and ensure that proper sanitation and storage methods are followed.

• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.

• Past experience or ability to learn Brain Vision Analyzer and Presentation software for use with Biosemi data acquisition system; ability to create data analysis scripts and design, modify and troubleshoot EEG paradigms using knowledge of computer hardware and software diagnostics.

• Past experience in MRI data acquisition and processing or willingness to learn and be certified in acquiring MRI neuroimaging data.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

• Proven ability to work with participants at clinical high risk for developing psychosis or who have experienced a recent onset of psychosis.

• Proven ability to use EPIC (computerized medical record system) obtain clinical data on research participants as approved by the IRB.

• Proven experience administering, coding and scoring self-report measures and neurocognitive tasks to adolescents and young adults, specifically MATRICS, WAIS, WISC, WASI, WRAT, CPT-IP.

• A Master's (MA or MS) or graduate degree in Psychology or related field.

• Bilingual English/Spanish
