The electronic Repair Depot technician 3 is a skilled specialist performing intermediate/more advanced testing and repair for equipment from field sites. Operates electronic test equipment pertaining to the assigned intermediate/more advanced repairs. Performs needed tests, troubleshooting and repairs of subassemblies for the intermediate/more advanced repairs assigned. Works in a Depot shop environment on Printed Circuit Boards (including component level repair/replacement), subassemblies, and other individual parts as required. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction.

Job Summary:
- Have a more advanced understanding of schematics, part/wire lists, test procedures, work orders, customer specifications
- Diagnoses, locates, troubleshoots malfunction, and repairs as needed.
- Sets up and operates electronic test equipment to perform complex operational and functional tests on assemblies and sub-assemblies (with limited assistance from senior personnel).
- Assists other less senior technicians in solving unusual problems in the hardware and electronic systems as required.
- Assists senior personnel in the performance of their duties when needed
- Builds cable assemblies and PCB's as required (with limited assistance from senior personnel).
- Identifies and analyzes equipment malfunctions and test equipment, wiring diagrams, schematics, electronics devices and electrical equipment, to rework, repair and maintain equipment (with limited assistance from senior personnel).
- Performs technical and semi-technical tasks not always electronic in nature.
- Maintains appropriate records and documentation in accordance with depot procedures and requirements. (examples including, SAP, Data collection documents)
- Provides feedback to their supervisor and planning on time restraints and productivity goals set by management.
- Possesses ability to understand verbal instructions to rework, repairs, test, troubleshoot and maintain equipment and PCB's.
- Able to identify continuous improvements in processes and workflows
- Must be able to work in an adaptive/flexible work environment
- Must be able to take guidance/direction from senior personnel.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Two years college/tech school degree in electronics and a minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience in an electronics related industry, or a minimum of four to six years' experience in an electronics related industry.
- Must have through hole and surface mount components soldering skill.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to work in hectic and noisy environments.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Cubic Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.00 + benefits.
