PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

At Worley, we are delivering sustainable change by bridging traditional energy and resource projects with the innovations of a low-carbon future. The Vice President, Project Management plays a pivotal role in this mission by providing executive-level leadership to complex, high-impact projects and programs. This role is responsible for setting strategic project direction, ensuring delivery aligns with our contractual commitments, and driving initiatives that balance current customer needs with long-term sustainability goals.

As a senior leader within our global project delivery function, this role influences not only the success of major projects but also contributes to shaping how Worley partners with customers to deliver integrated, data-centric solutions across the full asset lifecycle-from concept through to decommissioning. The Vice President will actively promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, safety, and operational excellence in line with our purpose of delivering a more sustainable world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide executive-level oversight of large and mega projects, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, Worley's policies, and sustainability targets.
  • Lead the planning, organization, and execution of complex Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCM) or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) projects, both domestically and internationally.
  • Champion a customer partnership mindset, ensuring that projects create long-term value over the entire asset lifecycle while delivering immediate results.
  • Drive risk management strategies and lead complex commercial negotiations, including those involving joint ventures and consortium partnerships.
  • Support business development activities by serving as a proposal leader for mega project pursuits and engaging directly with clients during bid and execution phases.
  • Act as a Designated Project Executive and/or Project Sponsor on critical engagements, providing governance, direction, and decisive leadership to project teams and customers.
  • Foster collaboration across multiple functions, including engineering, construction, consulting, and commissioning, to develop integrated solutions that contribute to Worley's global sustainability ambition.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and cross-disciplinary teams, promoting an inclusive, diverse, and high-performance work environment.
  • Influence the integration of new technologies, processes, and data-driven solutions to enhance project execution, efficiency, and sustainability outcomes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of project management best practices and operational improvements, ensuring alignment with Worley's strategic goals.
