Closing Date: 08/04/2025For more information, visit the link below: Who we are and what we do: The Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation is the regulatory agency over the workers' compensation system in Tennessee. Employers who are subject to the Workers' Compensation Act, insurers, and medical providers are regulated by the Bureau. We work with employers, injured workers, and claims professionals to educate the public about workers' compensation benefits and resolve workers' compensation benefit disputes. The Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) is looking for a creative and detail-oriented professional to serve as the cornerstone of our written communications. The ideal candidate is a passionate and exceptional writer, skilled in developing compelling content for multiple platforms and transforming complex information into clear, engaging messages. You would be using tools like Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud to research, write, and edit content that directly supports our educational goals and strengthens the Bureau's voice as a trusted resource. How you make a difference in this role: This role is an essential member of our three-member communications team collaborating daily with the Communications Director and the Learning Admin & Digital Transformation Specialist to move projects from concept to completion. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field; and experience equivalent to three to five years of full-time, professional-level work in content development, corporate communications, journalism, public relations, or digital marketing. Substitution of Experience for Education: Additional qualifying experience as described above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
