Job Title:Facilities Worker - Level I

Department:Facilities
Schedule:1st Shift, Monday-Friday
Location:RLR and Phyllis/Ashton Warehouse

Position Summary:

The Facilities Worker Level I is responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance, repair, and preventive tasks across multiple warehouse locations. This role supports the upkeep of PCI facilities and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, be a proactive team player, and be capable of working independently across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform medium-level repairs inpainting, spackling, plumbing, carpentry, andfurniture assembly/installation.
  • Conductpreventive maintenanceon air handlers and other facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on:
    • Air handlers, chillers, cooling towers, boilers
    • Air compressors, dehumidifiers, humidifiers
    • Electrical power systems and HVAC-related equipment
  • Use PCI's ordering system to identify and procure necessary parts.
  • Support repair projects from start to completion under guidance.
  • Identify and suggest improvement opportunities.
  • Operate and adjust inHoneywell Station modules(HVAC, Fire, Utilities) at Supervisor Security Level.
  • Performbasic electrical troubleshootingand minor locksmithing tasks.
  • Weld and rig equipment for relocation as needed.
  • Work directly with vendors for troubleshooting and repair support.
  • Travel between RLR, Phyllis, and Ashton Warehouses with tools as needed.
  • Respond toemergency callsduring weekends and off-shift hours.

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognizedtechnical education/training.
  • Officialforklift training/permit.
  • Validdriver's licenseand access to a vehicle for inter-site travel.
  • Basic understanding of:
    • HVAC, chilled/hot water, compressed air, and clean air systems
    • Electrical power systems supporting facility equipment
  • Familiarity with all PCI buildings and grounds.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow direction from management and senior staff.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability foron-call emergency response.
