Job Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Global Sourcing, within the Dover Global Sourcing organization, is responsible for identifying and leading sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing strategies aligned with Dover OpCo's objectives for direct material; this role requires strong project management skills, strategic sourcing knowledge and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize supplier selection, cost savings, and quality improvements.
  • Manage sourcing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring milestones and objectives are met.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, service levels, and contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, operations, finance, engineering, product management and legal teams, to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in supplier markets.
  • Track and report key performance metrics for suppliers and sourcing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes and supplier performance.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, engineering, or supply chain management with experience working cross-functionally.
  • Knowledge of global sourcing, supplier risk management, purchasing, and cost analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience using MRP/ERP system is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience using MRP/ERP system is a plus.
  • Electronics Sourcing or Purchasing experience a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing a plus.
  • Experience managing international suppliers and global supply chains.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) or Project Management (PMP) is a plus.

Work Requirements: Up to 25% travel may be required including domestic and international

Work Arrangement : Hybrid

Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $107,000.00annually

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
