OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to focus on the electrical system design for next generation Surface products. A strong mix of technical breadth and depth will allow you to work cross-functionally with different disciplines (Industrial Design, Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal, Software and Firmware) to develop compelling innovative products. You will design and develop circuits, select key strategic components and that encompasses the entire product. ResponsibilitiesLead motherboard floorplan and layout in collaboration with ME, ID, and Thermal team.Develop Schematics and BOM to meet the design requirements.Design, build, and test rapid prototypes for evaluation of new product ideas or technology concepts.Create design documentation, develop schematics, board layout to meet system design requirements.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the overall system of the product from concept to completion.Use simulation and lab measurement data to support design troubleshooting and propose corrective actions, drive failure analysis, root cause analysis, and design of experiments to resolve issues.Work with suppliers, contractors, and engineering services to ensure that the product is developed on time with high quality. | |
