We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our Client Finance Team. Our Senior Finance Manager is accountable for leading a team of Finance and Accounting professionals in general accounting duties including the creation of annual and quarterly forecasts as well as leading the revenue recognition process. They are accountable for team results and must ensure compliance in all accounting processes.

What this job involves:

JLL Internal deliverables:

  • Assist with the creation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasts
  • Manage the revenue recognition process in compliance with contract terms
  • Manage team in achieving accounts receivable objectives and metrics - oversee maintenance and research on AR over 30 days past due
  • Maintain internal control processes and standards and ensure the compliance of the team
  • Key financial/accounting liaison for Business Unit Executives, Product Line owners, and Corporate
  • Act as advisor and strategic partner to these groups for all financial, operational and client matters
  • Produce and analyze monthly variance reports
  • Assist in the preparation of analysis and dashboard reporting for the client group, as well as Corporate

Client Deliverables:

  • Support the analysis of the Account (FP&A, Balance sheet Control, Savings, Change Controls, etc.).
  • Build strong relationships and support the client-side finance teams with regular reporting and dealing with any queries/information requests. Liaise with and support the Client's primary financial managers.
  • Be proactive in developing and managing client/business unit relationships ensuring that the expected service levels are achieved across the region.
  • Production of annual budgets in conjunction with the JLL operations team and client finance team.
  • Understand the Client's accounting structure and system.
  • Maintain & deliver promptly, the Client's approved financial reports across the region.
  • Work with the operational team to analyze commercial and contractual aspects of the client account (e.g., savings initiative tracking; reconciliations; baseline control; business case reviews; etc.).
  • Coordinate and track the cost savings initiatives for the region.

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • A minimum of 7-9 years of relevant work experience with 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong accounting skills
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PeopleSoft
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven presentation skills
  • Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic
  • Understanding of and commitment to client services
  • A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment

Preferred

  • CPA and/or MBA
  • Audit and internal controls background
  • Proficiency with JD Edwards E1 General Ledger system

Estimated total compensation for this position:

120,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
