Endpoint Packaging

What success looks like in this role:

o The resource should have an experience of at-least 7 years of relevant exposure/experience in Application Packaging technology.
o Have a clear understanding of the business expectations and open to be flexible to work in shifts and off business hours whenever the situation/business demands so.
o Should be efficient in handling customer interactions or any client facing roles and equally a strong technical expert.
o Should be able to provide solutions for any complex situations. Own up and lead from the front.
o Expected to take the delivery responsibility of a definitive set of resources as an initiative
o Should contribute towards improving productivity efficiency.
o Work with the SAs on any new technologies, processes and roadmap.
o Present whitepapers on any new emerging technologies.
o Have a good understanding of the business, SLAs and KPIs.
o Should be an expert in the following core packaging offerings..
* Windows Installer
* Admin Studio, Wise Package Studio
* Application Virtualization (AppV, ThinApp, XenApp, etc)
* Application Compatibility/Assessment (ACT, APPDNA, ChangeBase)
* Application Rationalization
o Should lead discussions on the above areas whenever the situation demands
o Drive escalations to closure
o Own application delivery and ensure that all the requests are delivered on time and with the quality as defined in the objectives.
o Should have a very good understanding of the processes and should ensure 100% compliance.
o Good understanding of the ITIL processes.
o Possess good knowledge on deployment tools and technologies and should be able to work with dependent teams in identifying and troubleshooting any package related issues.
o Assess, identify and implement automation opportunities which bring in improved efficiencies.
o Contribute towards Ulean Ideas. Drive and Implement them successfully.
o Expert in the use of the VMware workstation or any other desktop virtualization platform.
o Inclination to participate in team initiatives and challenges (should have a very clear vision on team's objective)

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 4-6 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
