The Senior Manager, Electrodes and Warehouse Operations will lead and manage the electrodes production and warehouse operations to ensure the efficient, compliant, and high-quality manufacturing and distribution of medical devices. This role is critical in aligning production and logistics with regulatory standards, customer requirements, and business objectives, initiatives and mission.
- Lead, engage, coach, develop and motivate a cross-functional team of supervisors, planners, and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and results, safety, and continuous learning.
- Develop and execute operational strategies for electrode manufacturing and warehouse management aligned with company goals.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Oversee manufacturing planning and processes in the Electrodes Factory and Warehouse Operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Manage key KPIs such as yield, productivity, downtime, quality and financial metrics to improve and sustain results.
- Work closely with Quality to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company SOPs, participate in internal and external audits related to production and warehouse operations, support CAPA investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, R&D and Quality to support current product lines and potential new product introductions.
- Oversee Warehouse operations relative to accurate inventory control, material handling, and timely distribution of raw materials to the production environments and finished goods to the distribution centers, implementation and maintenance of ERP systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting and optimization of warehouse layout and logistics to improve space utilization and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business management, or related field is required. A master's degree in engineering or business management is preferred.
- 8+ years of career experience in manufacturing, operations, or project management (preferably focused on medical device environments), with 2+ years in a leadership/management role.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multiple, diverse teams across disciplines/operations with a focus on driving results.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MANMAN, L2L) and MS Office Suite.
- Proven record of optimizing manufacturing and logistics operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high standards of quality through the facilitation and organization of people, processes, materials, equipment and technology.
- Experienced in process improvement, lean methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels.
- Skilled in managing cross-functional teams and multiple operations to administer projects with clear deliverables and timelines to maximize business results.
- Successful experience leading teams through change and driving adoption of new systems or processes.
- Deep understanding of medical device regulations (FDA, ISO 13485, MDR).
This position is not eligible for employer based sponsorship. Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range is 96,000-190,000.
