About the Role:

3D Systems, a leading global provider of 3D printing solutions is seeking an individual trained in A Quality Engineer is a professional who monitors and tests the quality of products in industries such as manufacturing and automotive. They ensure compliance with standards, identify issues, recommend solutions, and create quality documentation. Skills include knowledge of ISO standards, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a degree in engineering.

What We Are Looking For:



  • Support material manufacturing ISO 9001 certification and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support quality team efforts to comply with 3D Systems QMS requirements.
  • Support supplier quality engineering program.
  • Review performance data using statical analysis techniques to evaluate trends and discrepancies.
  • Support the Material Review Board process for both materials supplied to and manufactured by 3D Systems.
  • Develop, revise, and implement procedures in support of quality initiatives.
  • Develop, revise, and provide customer or supplier facing documentation.
  • Support the new product introduction process.
  • Support the change management and change qualification process.
  • Investigate internal and external non-conformances.
  • Perform root cause analysis and execute risk mitigation actions.
  • Execute investigative procedures and processes to support quality initiatives.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

Education and Training



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related scientific field
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Access, Excel, Minitab, or similar tools
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, MRP systems, Oracle.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with applied experience in a team environment.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



  • Experience with analytical skills
  • Experience with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to react quickly to quality issues providing containment, solutions, and closure in a timely manner.
  • Work with minimal supervision and the ability to lead others.
  • Ability to perform unit conversion and other calculations related to material formulations.
  • Must be hands on with inspections, providing solutions to issues.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and instruments such as calipers, mics, height gauge, etc.
  • Familiarity with chemical analytical tools
  • Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement experience a plus.
  • Ability to travel to support business needs as needed (less than 10%)
