Willdan Performance Engineering, a division of Willdan Group, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager focused on the mission-critical markets that is committed to delivering creative facility and energy solutions to our clients and customer prospects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan and strategy that maximizes market penetration in mission-critical customers/facilities.
• Build an impactful sales funnel from prospecting and existing business partnerships for energy efficiency projects and sustainability consulting.
• Meet individual sales goals set by management.
• Development, processing and QC of proposals and other customer deliverables.
• Guide facility managers, operations engineers, and C-level executives through the sales process.
• Lead internal and external project kick-off calls for sold projects.
• Support Project Manager and delivery team during project implementation.
• Represent our services in a professional and creative manner.
• Collaborate across Willdan business units in service to Willdan's strategic priorities.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years related experience in energy efficiency sales within the mission-critical, industrial and/or large commercial sector is required.
• Any experience related to large, complex projects/systems and/or critical facilities is a major plus.
• Any experience working with utilities supporting Energy Efficiency programs is a plus.
• A proven track record of selling energy efficiency projects, or industrial products, within the mission-critical and industrial sectors.
• Have passion and be driven, entrepreneurial and creative.
• Have strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to conduct detailed reviews of customer deliverables with attention to detail.
• Be team oriented and comfortable collaborating with other staff.
• National travel to drive sales and work with customers as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
