DIRECTOR OF SALES, U.S. - APPLICATION DELIVERY MANAGEMENT (ADM)

YOUR IMPACT

As the Director of Sales for the U.S. ADM business at OpenText, you will lead a high-performing team focused on helping customers accelerate software delivery, improve quality, and optimize performance through OpenText's Application Delivery Management solutions. This is a strategic leadership role with national scope, where you'll be responsible for growing revenue, developing top sales talent, and positioning OpenText as a trusted partner in the DevOps and application lifecycle management space.

You bring a proven track record of leading enterprise sales teams, with the ability to inspire, execute, and scale success. You are passionate about driving digital transformation, thrive in dynamic environments, and excel at aligning complex customer needs with innovative software solutions.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
  • Team Leadership & Development - Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing ADM sales team, focused on building pipeline and delivering results.

  • Strategic Sales Execution - Define and implement regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Customer Engagement - Cultivate trusted relationships with key enterprise customers and guide them through solution design and decision-making processes.

  • Market Insight & Positioning - Stay ahead of evolving market dynamics, competitive movements, and customer needs to position OpenText ADM offerings effectively.

  • Sales Enablement - Equip your team to confidently articulate value, manage long sales cycles, and close complex, high-value opportunities.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration - Partner with presales, marketing, services, and product teams to drive alignment and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 8-12 years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a sales leadership role.

  • Proven success managing quota-carrying sales teams and consistently exceeding targets in high-growth environments.

  • Deep understanding of the Application Delivery Management space, including DevOps, continuous testing, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management.

  • Strong track record in solution-based selling to enterprise customers, including experience closing large, complex deals.

  • Ability to engage, influence, and build credibility with C-level stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills with a passion for developing talent.

  • Experience managing large regional or national territories.

  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience will be considered.
