What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models to tackle complex business and technical challenges.
• Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers to create intelligent features and tools.
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets for training and validating models.
• Optimize model performance and ensure scalability in production.
• Stay sharp by keeping up with emerging trends, tools, and frameworks in AI and machine learning.
• Document your work-from model architecture to code-for transparency and team collaboration.
• Follow best practices for AI model governance, data privacy, and cybersecurity in regulated environments.
• Troubleshoot and fine-tune models in both dev and production settings.

Knowledge and Expertise for this Role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Creative problem-solving ability and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with data processing and transformation tools like Pandas and NumPy
• Comfortable working with APIs, SQL, and potentially NoSQL databases.
• Experience using Git for version control and collaborating on shared codebases.

Location and Travel

This position and individual will be based out of Sioux Falls, SD, Sioux Center, IA or Omaha, NE and the amount of travel will vary according to business requirements (may be up to 10%). This is an in person role and the selected candidate will be in one of the listed locations.
