Software Engineer Intern - Ann Arbor, MI

Based at our Ann Arbor, MI site, we seek a motivated Software Engineer Intern with a strong interest in computer science, app development, optics, and microscopy. The ideal candidate will have exposure to computer vision, CUDA, C++, Python, AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs). This internship offers a unique opportunity to work onsite with our expert team, contributing to projects integrating advanced technologies to enhance our products and services.

This is an on-site role at our Ann Arbor, MI, facility.

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Assist in designing and developing software applications focused on computer vision and AI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical systems and microscopy technologies.
• Support the implementation and optimization of algorithms using CUDA for high-performance computing.
• Develop and maintain code in C++ and Python for various applications.
• Work with AI and LLMs to create intelligent solutions and improve user experiences.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest computer vision and AI advancements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure software quality and performance.

• Currently pursuing a master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
