Overall Purpose

Privacy & Data Risk Management Analyst supports the execution, monitoring, and maintenance of the Company's Privacy and Data Risk Management programs and department initiatives. This role is designed to ensure effective privacy, model and data governance practices are in place, and to establish a risk-awareness culture across the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Supports the Privacy and Data Risk Management programs and various department initiatives such as policy and procedure management, training and awareness, and control testing.

  • Assists in cataloging data for the purposes of information classification, retention and disposal, and records of processing personal information.

  • Assists in preparing for and responding to internal and external audits/exams.

  • Monitors, tracks, and reports on program metrics and key performance indicators.

  • Maintains tracking of reports in MS Office tools.

  • Supports business-line leadership in managing and reporting its related risks; scribe and publish meeting minutes for ongoing meetings.

  • Perform Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) activities utilizing the Company's GRC platform.

  • Support the Company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of 2 or more years working within the risk function focused on privacy and data management.

  • Ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues and implement process improvements.

  • Effective analytical and decision-making skills to determine best solutions for situations.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to communicate with various levels of employees within the department.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Background and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Risk Management is highly preferred.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

  • Understanding of data management principles is preferred.

  • Experience developing dashboards and automation of metrics.

  • Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ in USD per hour is: $29.00 - $35.00.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
