As a result of our continued growth, our employee-owned and integrated team of multi-discipline engineering and design professionals has an opportunity available for an IT Manager.
As our company continues to expand, we recognize the crucial role technology plays in driving our success. As the IT Manager, you would be responsible for leading the charge in optimizing our IT infrastructure, fostering innovation, and delivering cutting-edge solutions.
In this highly impactful role, you'll not only assess and manage our current IT systems - including cloud solutions as well as server platform and visualization technologies - but also identify opportunities for efficiency and growth, spearheading upgrades and advancements that align with our business objectives. Your expertise will shape the way we utilize technology to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
You'll also be instrumental in mentoring and empowering our highly reputable IT team, ensuring seamless collaboration and continuous improvement. Working closely with our Chief Information / Technology Officer, you'll help steer the strategic and tactical vision for our technology landscape, positioning yourself as a key influencer in decision-making and long-term planning.

For this opportunity we are seeking a qualified IT professional who resides within a regular commuting distance of our Bloomington location and who is able to travel to other TKDA office locations as needed based on project assignments and responsibilities. TKDA provides employees with flexible hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) work arrangements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience directly managing, coaching, and developing IT professionals, including helpdesk analysts and systems analysts.
  • Progressive and extensive experience managing and maintaining the overall operation, including health and design, of networks, servers, and storage infrastructure.
  • Prior experience developing budgets and managing expenditures for IT projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to travel between TKDA office locations as necessary based on project implementations, department / corporate initiatives, and other responsibilities.
Advantageous Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry.
  • Familiarity with IT support needs for AE industry-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bentley, and other BIM/CAD tools).
  • Prior experience with cloud computing and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, and/or Microsoft.
Technical Qualifications
  • Microsoft Azure, M365 Admin Centers, Windows Server Hybrid, and Teams
  • Cisco/Meraki Network Administration Experience
  • Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMWare Hypervisor
  • Panzura Cloud Storage and/or Enterprise Cloud Storage Solutions
The listed figures represent the target range for base compensation. Total compensation may also include an annual bonus payment, ESOP allocation, 401(k) match contribution, and more. Actual base compensation offered will be determined by various factors including applicable experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform primary position responsibilities.
