Overview

Verathon is seeking an experienced and talented Manager of Accounts Receivable to become the newest member of our team located in Bothell, WA.

The Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for overseeing our company's invoicing, credit, collections, and cash application processes. The position requires advanced knowledge, skills, and experience and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. The Manager's decisions have an extended impact on work processes and outcomes. This position will lead a team of A/R collections, credit, invoicing, and cash application analysts and serve as a consultant to senior management and their teams on matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives.



Responsibilities

* Manage A/R Operations: Oversee the entire A/R process, including invoicing, collections, credit, and cash application.
* Team Leadership: Manage a team of A/R analysts responsible for invoicing, collections, credit, and cash application using metrics-driven management tools and process improvements to deliver business results.
* Development: Provide coaching and ongoing feedback to members of the A/R team with a focus on development and engagement.
* Customer Relations: Maintain positive and productive relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.
* Process Improvement: Analyze and monitor department work to develop and maintain more effective processes and achieve KPIs. Use ERP and other tools to effectively manage the A/R function and provide necessary reporting.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaboration: Partner with and educate internal and external business partners. Represent A/R department in cross-functional company projects. Perform other projects, duties and initiatives as needed.



Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

* 8+ years of directly related A/R experience (invoicing, credit, collections, cash collection) showing progression of responsibilities and leadership. A minimum of 2 years of people management is required.
* Knowledge of relevant US GAAP accounting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with leaders and teams across an international organization.
* Excellent communication and advisory skills.
* Excellent customer service.
* Proven ability to be organized and consistently deliver results accurately and on-time.
* A high degree of ethics and integrity.
* Experience managing a team to set expectations, solve problems, and achieve company goals.
* Good judgment and critical thinking.
* Willingness to get into the details and provide hands-on support to analysts as needed.

Salary range - $84,000 - $127,000 (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).

Full-time employees who are not on a commission plan are eligible for Verathon's annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
