Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site for our client in Irving, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Provide corresponding support for projects in lines of business to provide optimum input for quotes, workshops, the scope of material, and the realization of potential savings.
• Assess and develop suppliers to support project requirements related to the location of the project
• Contribute to cost-benefit analysis workshops, innovation workshops, and concept competitions with key suppliers to concentrate on the key functions of the components/projects.
• Prepare sourcing decisions with interface partners to incorporate technological know-how and safeguard security strategies.
• Participate in workgroups and projects to stay informed, keep others informed, and exert influence at an early stage.
• Report weekly status project reports related to supplier performance (OTD and Quality), open requirements, and as sold vs. actual performance
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing
• Arrange transportation of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery
• You will analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions
• Coordinate with the material management team and departments as required
• Produce and report inputs for project KPI's as needed

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operating computers (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.

• SAP experience
• Good negotiation skills
