As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients. This position requires an armed guard card/license, as you will be responsible for upholding strict access control protocols and responding to any security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to manage access systems and document activities, contributing to a seamless and secure experience for everyone on site. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and communicate any concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
