Job Category: File Clerk / Administrative Support Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Insurance A leading insurance services provider is seeking a Document Processor to join its remote operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, punctual, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We hire based on communication, computer skills, and punctuality. Key Responsibilities * Process a high volume of incoming emails (approx. 1,200/day) by identifying content and uploading documents to the appropriate claim files. * Use Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Pro, and internal systems to manage and route documents efficiently. * Collaborate with a team to ensure all documents are processed within a strict 24-hour turnaround window. * Maintain accuracy and speed while handling sensitive insurance-related information. * Adhere to a structured schedule and consistently meet time-sensitive deadlines. Schedule Details * Weekdays: Start time around 9:30-10:00 AM EST. Full days expected, with early release on lighter volume days. * Weekends: * *Weekend availability is required. *Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 4 hours between Saturday and Sunday, anytime between 12 PM and 7 PM EST. * Flexible scheduling is allowed within this window (e.g., 12-2 PM both days, or 3-7 PM on Sunday). Punctuality is critical. We are looking for someone who can be counted on to show up on time and meet daily processing goals without delay. Must-Have Skills * Strong computer skills and comfort with digital tools and platforms. * 2+ years of document processing or administrative experience. * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro. * Typing speed of at least 7,000 KPH. * Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Prior experience in insurance or claims processing is a plus. Nice-to-Have Skills * Experience with medical records, mailroom operations, or data entry. * Familiarity with scanning, filing, and document indexing systems.
