What You Will Do: The Manager, Patient Safety & Quality Improvement is responsible for the coordination of all clinical quality data and related information as required by the hospital's Performance Improvement Plan. The review includes but is not limited to concurrent and retrospective Core measure indicators, electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMS), strategic system Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM) goals and Howard County Medical Center (HCMC) Annual strategic goals. This position provides feedback, support, and education to both providers and clinical unit staff with the primary goal of achieving accountability and compliance with all metrics supporting programmatic work stemming from JHM, HGCH, and HSCRC. Works in conjunction with the Manager of Patient Safety and Quality, Manager, Infection Prevention, and Assistant Director of Clinical Excellence to identify Performance Improvement (PI) opportunities and needs. Responsible for effectively facilitating performance improvement teams. Supervises The Armstrong Institute Patient Safety and Quality Improvement team, and a dotted line support to the stroke data coordinator for overlapping state and federal mandatory stroke reporting metrics. Salary Range: Minimum 46.57/hour - Maximum 72.18/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
