Position Summary

The Warehouse Technician position follows all standard operating procedures (SOP's) to complete all internal and external customer requests. Position will be in one of the functional areas of the warehouse including driving, receiving, picking, packing and shipping.

Essential Functions

  • Process orders according to priority set by Supervisor/Group Lead in order to meet customer requirements.
  • Receive, pick, package, and label shipments according to the Distribution SOP and work instructions.
  • Maneuver picking carts or powered industrial truck to various locations throughout the warehouse to fulfill orders.
  • Complete paper documentation requirements for packing and shipping of all materials, including hazardous chemicals.
  • Practice good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
  • Complete paper documentation requirements as outlined by SOPs.
  • Verify proper storage conditions of products and notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Can't Finds, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
  • Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction including maintaining sufficient employee relations and teamwork.
  • Drive Supply Chain vehicles from multiple ImmunityBio Sites.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED with 1+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in a GMP regulated industry required.
  • Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred.
  • Experience operating a powered industrial truck, preferably a cherry picker, and forklift preferred.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to constantly stand and move around department required.
  • Frequent walking, stooping, bending and reaching required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position works on site.
  • Regular work schedule is Monday - Friday, within standard business hours. Flexibility is available with manager approval.
  • This position has exposure to onsite lab environment.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a standard warehouse setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • This position will be handling hazardous materials.

This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award. The hourly base pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.

$27.00 (entry-level qualifications) to $30.00 (highly experienced) per hour
