Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Perform all functions normally associated with coaching college basketball.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Recruit talented student athletes both in and out of the Lake Land District.
2. Organize and administer daily practice.
3. Make decisions and arrange for purchase of equipment uniforms etc.
4. Maintain accurate records and operate within budget constraints.
5. Provide for bench personnel and related materials for games.
6. Provide for travel meal lodging arrangements as needed.
7. Assist in scheduling of basketball events.
8. Organize and administer fundraising as needed.
9. Assist athletes in transition to the next level of competition and education.
10. Report to and work with athletic director in all aspects of responsibilities.
11. Serve as a positive role model for student athletes.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree preferred.

Experience as basketball player and/or coach.

Knowledge of basketball coaching methods,rules,and motivational techniques.

Ability to demonstrate and teach basketball.

21 years of age,strong work ethic,energetic,enthusiastic.Valid driver's license.
