Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking an Inside Strategic Accounts Sales Coordinator for our Lakeville, Minnesota location. This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

The Strategic Accounts Sales Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of new sales, contract and account management with strategic accounts and influencers to include both corporate owned accounts and buying groups. The role includes the coordination of strategic account creation, set up and any tasks required to successfully transition and assist new strategic account customers. Will assist in planning and organizing the onboarding as well as carry out important duties to keep the process running smoothly for customers. This position will support strategic accounts team member activities as well as Midwest Veterinary Supply departments involved with strategic accounts. In addition, the position will coordinate efforts providing communication between the customer, Midwest Corporate office and the Midwest Veterinary Supply sales teams pertaining to target opportunities, goal attainment to stay on plan with strategic accounts.

This is a remote position that can be located in: AL, FL, IL, IN, IA, KY, MD, MN, MO, NE, NV, PA, SC, TX, and WI.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage strategic account on-boarding by supporting the negotiation and implementation of new strategic accounts contracts with Midwest, including renewals. Assist in account set-up and account changes/updates of key accounts. Manage the communication with strategic account partners and set-up initial Midwest on-boarding meeting. Communicate with and support efforts of Midwest Business Units throughout account set-up by assisting with the set-up of pricing, rebate structures, marketing funds, growth opportunities, web development, AR and determining business intelligence needs.
  • Manage the ongoing maintenance of existing strategic accounts. Track, monitor and evaluate progress and performance of program among customers. Maintain strategic account database in ClickUp, CRM or other platform determined by Midwest. Develop and organize reports for strategic accounts with assistance of business intelligence team and AR team. Handle monthly communications and regular business reviews to increase business, explain exclusive programs and visibility in the marketplace. Be the communication liaison between strategic accounts and Midwest Business Units, including the sales team.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of strategic account marketing pieces, presentation tools and educational materials. Work across Midwest Business Units to create a unified portfolio of tiered offerings that can be presented to strategic accounts to increase sales. Work closely with marketing and vendor partners to develop and maintain materials needed as presentation tools for the Midwest sales force and strategic accounts team.
  • Educate Midwest Business Units and sales force on the unique needs of strategic accounts. Continue personal growth and development within the industry of trends, new products, new manufacturers and competitive offerings by participating in industry conferences and trade shows. Attend Midwest regional meetings, NSMs and branch meetings as necessary to educate the sales force on new developments and tactics to be successful within strategic accounts.
  • Support the activities of field based strategic accounts team members in all areas needed. Handle calendar reminders and travel arrangements for strategic accounts team. Manage mailings, outbound reporting and literature needs for strategic accounts. Track leads that are brought in from sales team, report to key accounts and payroll any lead fees due to sales team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
  • High School Diploma or equivalency require
  • College Diploma preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office setting, preferably in a project management role.
  • Experience using MS Office required.
  • Data Analysis skill preferred
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, ability to operate a Windows-based computer and data entry.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and problem solve.
  • Strong attention to detail. Strong project management and customer service skills.

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed in an office environment Monday through Friday. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required. Weekend availability required rarely. Occasional local and/or overnight travel may be required rarely. (This is a remote position)
