Description This resource will be on the Operations. This team is in charge or supporting, maintaining all of larger Applications, Products, etc. This team will be supporting Windows, AD, Nutanix, VMWare, Linux, SQL, Oracle, Exchange, Office 365, Azure. The main focus of the troubleshooting and tickets would be with Windows Servers, Nutanix, AD & Office 365. This Administrator will be handling the majority of the level 3 troubleshooting tickets. All alerts come through Solarwinds. 80% Ticket Support Research/Resolution/Escalation/Support & 20% Project based work for implementation, upgrades, cloud migration, scripting & automating. Customer's JOD: System Administrator primary responsibility of design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Windows Server infrastructure with a focus on operating system integrity, security, and performance. The key duties for this role involve tasks associated with server administration in a highly virtualized environment, perform system maintenance, support, and management of the Windows Server OS throughout the enterprise. Job Duties: * Strong understanding of configuring Microsoft Windows OS technology including AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units. * Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, Active Directory Federated Services, and password/identity management systems. * Assist in management and support of internal and external DNS systems. Assist in management and support of internal DHCP architecture and scoping. * Create and update technical documentation of operating procedures as needed. * Maintain standards for installation of infrastructure software / hardware installations. * Experience with Virtual Hypervisors VMWare and Nutanix. Nutanix is a MUST HAVE * Serve as a technical expert for Tier 1/2/3 support groups. * Provide solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement, and conversions. Recommends solutions as appropriate. * Automation tool experience such as PowerShell, Ansible, etc * Provide problem solving leadership based on experience with the technology. * Review domain level rights and privileges and perform changes to the same as appropriate. * Collaborate in assessing current and expected Windows infrastructure needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization and documentation of Windows infrastructure. * Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies within a defined Change Management process. * Assist with implementing solutions for hardware and software. Implement common preventive maintenance practices for hardware and software. * Ensure that system improvements and changes are implemented correctly and completely and monitor all effects of the modifications. * Establish/recommend policies on system use and services. * Experience with web host and domain registrar * Designs, plans, builds, and integrates cloud computing and virtualization systems and solutions Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
