OverviewVeeco's San Jose facility is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, and results-driven Production Planner with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Reporting to the Manager, the Production Planner will help implement targeted supply chain solutions that align with business goals, inventory management practices, and new product development initiatives. This role is responsible for planning activities that support the customer backlog, ensuring on-time shipments, and executing engineering change notifications. The Production Planner will collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Project Engineering, Manufacturing, and other teams to meet spare parts revenue targets, optimize inventory strategies, and manage inventory levels. The role also supports process improvement initiatives related to inventory management, excess and obsolete materials, and production material flow. Responsibilities
Qualifications Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated proficiency in MRP principles and end-to-end supply chain concepts, with at least3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production planning environment.Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing scheduling and production control, including developing and maintaining production plans, resolving scheduling conflicts, and optimizing resource utilization. The expected salary range for this position is $87,786.00-111,195, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
