General Information:

James Madison University's Facilities Management department is hiring a Wage Housekeeping Office Assistant. This part-time position offers up to 29 hours per week and requires availability Monday through Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Receive daily timebooks from housekeeping supervisors and enter employee work hours and leave time into AiM, the university's work management system.
* Review timebooks for accuracy and completeness; communicate with supervisors to resolve any discrepancies.
* Ensure all timekeeping data is entered and processed in a timely manner to meet departmental deadlines.
* Enter supply orders through the AiM system, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely fulfillment.
* Perform a variety of office management and clerical duties, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and responding to inquiries.
* Provide administrative support to the housekeeping team and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

* Basic computer skills.
* Some understanding of time record keeping.
* Ability to perform extensive data entry.
* Clerical, customer service, organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
* Ability to work with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional behavior.
* Proven ability to manage time and keep to an assigned schedule.
