Structured Cabling Technician (Contract-to-Hire) TEKsystems is seeking experienced Structured Cabling Technicians to join our team for high-impact infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong termination skills and a track record of reliability in healthcare and government environments. Responsibilities * Pull and route Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cables per project specs and manufacturer standards * Terminate and test network cables using industry-standard tools and techniques * Assist in installing racks, j-hooks, support structures, and IT/network hardware * Perform low-voltage wiring tasks and maintenance in hospital settings * Maintain a clean worksite and adhere to all safety protocols * Meet or exceed daily production goals * Uphold the TEKsystems standard of "Do It Right The First Time" (DIRTFT) Required Skills * Expertise in cable pulling, termination, punchdown, and testing * Familiarity with Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optics * Proficient with tools like snips, wire strippers, and punchdown tools * Must provide your own tools * Strong work ethic, professionalism, and initiative * Reliable transportation and strict adherence to attendance policies Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
