Job Summary

The Sr. Benefits Analyst is the point person for benefits administration for assigned client(s), which could be one of our bottler clients or CCBSS internally. This role is responsible for the administration and execution of clients' benefit programs and policies, ensuring accuracy, timeliness in deliverables, and compliance. Our client(s) depend upon this individual to have strong knowledge and experience in benefits and specifically to learn, understand, and adhere to their benefit programs, policies and processes. A key part of this role entails being the "face" of the BSNA benefits administration service to the clients and offering recommendations for improvement to processes, programs, and/or policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:



  • Primary point of contact for clients and vendors; lead meetings, align on processes, identify and resolve issues; bring forward recommendations.
  • Responsible for day-to-day benefits operations such as appeals, death claims, direct billing of benefits, and support for regulatory audits (e.g., ACA, 5500s, 401k).
  • Oversee full lifecycle of Open Enrollment, including timeline, system testing, vendor coordination, and HR Advisor training.
  • Timely completion of required data audits; troubleshoot variances or file feed errors.
  • Own completion of year-end/year-begin activities; ensure alignment with Payroll
  • Identify and implement process improvements; maintain process documentation.
  • Tier 3 escalation point for complex benefits issues; manage cases through Salesforce.
  • Delegate work to Analysts as appropriate.
  • Mentor Analysts and HR Advisors.
  • Reconcile/process vendor invoicing
  • Stay current on industry trends.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Years of Experience

  • 4+ years of benefits plan administration
  • 5+ years HRIS, HR operations, and data analysis experience

Required Travel

Travel is not expected in this job, however, employees may be asked to travel for meetings or training on occasion.

Hybrid Work Environment

CCBSS operates a hybrid working environment. This is a teleworking role that requires working at a CCBSS office location on a regular basis (or a minimum number of days per month or week) at the manager's discretion. The number of days required at a CCBSS office location is at the manager's discretion and is subject to change depending on business needs.
