*Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer* Job Description As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, configuring, documenting, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining test plans, cases, and scripts. You will be innovative, energetic, and passionate about ensuring the highest quality of customer experiences. You will collaborate with a team of developers, designers, product managers, and other QA/testing staff to deliver secure and exceptional digital experiences for both internal and external customers, with a focus on Internet Banking applications.
Responsibilities * Plan, develop, and maintain testing artifacts and processes. * Bring technical expertise and industry testing best practices to the development team. * Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality features and capabilities. * Assist in resolving issues and identifying and managing defects. * Lead testing planning and design sessions. * Lead defect tracking and management activities, ensuring accountability for resolution. * Provide on-call support 24x7 on a rotational basis. Essential Skills * Strong test planning, design, execution, and automation skills. * Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, TSS, Node.js. * Experience with React, TailwindCSS, NextJS or similar frameworks. * Experience with automated testing frameworks like Storybook, Playwright, or viTest. * Experience with responsive and mobile applications and their testing, and use of APIs. * Experience with Web services, especially REST. * Knowledge of CI/CD practices and understanding of how to incorporate testing into pipelines. * Expertise with test automation. * Experience testing applications in a containerized, cloud environment such as Kubernetes. * Understanding of database management systems and handling synthetic data. * 5-7+ years of professional experience in Quality Engineering (Automation). Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience with continuous deployment tools. * Substantial Financial Services testing experience. * Knowledge of performance testing tools and instrumentation. * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, STEM or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience. * AI Tools like Cursor, CodeRabbit, Azure are nice to have. Work Environment This role is onsite, five days per week in Charlotte, NC. The current office is located in South Park, with plans to move to South End by the end of the year. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
