Position Title: Lead Quality Technician
Wage: $20-$25/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts QPS Employment Group is hiring a Lead Quality Technician at a company in East Troy, WI. Lead Quality Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform daily testing of in-house concrete mix designs - Track and document test results using spreadsheets - Measure aggregate moisture and break concrete cylinders for quality control - Conduct pre and post pour inspections on all molds - Collaborate with production staff to address any quality concerns - Troubleshoot concrete mix issues as needed - Assist in steel form preparation and mold maintenance - Operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes - Perform basic carpentry, facility upkeep, and housekeeping tasks - Take on other duties in production, maintenance, or related areas as needed Lead Quality Technician Requirements: - High school diploma or GED preferred but not required - Previous experience in manufacturing or construction is a plus - Basic math skills and understanding of measurements - Able to lift up to 150 pounds periodically - Good communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail - Willingness to obtain ACI Field Testing Grade 1 certification training provided - Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools or equipment are a plus QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
