The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Columbia Publishing Course is seeking a creative story-teller to promote brand visibility and internal and external initiatives for the course. The Variable Hour-Digital Content Officer reports to the Assistant Director and Director, with primary responsibilities including supporting the course's online presence and executing communication tactics. Day-to-day tasks include copywriting, designing simple graphics, managing social media and outreach, staying abreast of publishing industry news and promoting course efforts. The Digital Content Officer may also perform administrative duties as needed. The preferred candidate will be up-to-date with the latest digital technology and social media trends. They should have excellent communication skills, and be able to express the CJS and CPC missions with creativity and care.
