This role is crucial in ensuring that early career consultants are effectively integrated into our company culture and equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for success. You will work alongside P&T analysts in the Chicago office, helping them to understand their role and responsibilities and provide guidance and feedback on work deliverables. This is a client services role. You will use your skills and experience to build measurable, better outcomes for our clients.

Project Leadership
Responsible for leading a team of analysts, serving as the intermediary between analysts and project leadership, and providing work product guidance and direction on a day to day basis.
Can run day-to-day operations of projects, navigate disruption, manage staffing, and mitigate risks on the project, with support from Engagement Leadership.
High energy style, flexible and adaptive, with the ability to work well in a very fast-paced environment.
Understands and adapts to complex client environments and situations. Skilled at defining, communicating, motivating, and inspiring change at executive levels and across the broader community of stakeholders.

Training and Development
Demonstrate a desire and aptitude for mentoring and coaching early-career consultants, helping them to navigate their roles and develop professionally
Support early career consultants' structure, plan and execute work.
Effectively deliver continuous real time feedback
Foster open communication channels within the team and across the firm, ensuring clear understanding of training requirements, objectives, and outcomes
Program Operations and Leadership
Work closely with program leadership to identify training needs and ensure alignment with program and firm goals.
Maintain a strong working understanding of the firm's key tools and related best practices to be able to teach and guide others to use effectively.
Experience with one or more AlixPartners tool and/or platform, including, but not limited to GTO, SXR, OIE, Radial
What you'll need
Minimum 8+ years of business experience or equivalent.
5+ years of consulting experience in a professional services firm environment preferred.
Bachelor's degree with evidence of strong academic success. Degree(s) in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or foreign equivalent. Master's degree and/or certification in related specialty area(s) preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
Recognized for deep skills and passion for learning and development of others.
Comfortable with ambiguity and role models flexibility as circumstances evolve
Exceptional service mentality and interpersonal skills. Ability to build counseling relationships with others.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications.
Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
